I love a good cocktail. That’s no secret. If you follow me on my food Instagram, you have sees me consistently post pictures of eateries that serve clean cocktails over the past few years. The fusion and blend of the right amount of herbs, fresh fruits/juices, and quality liquor, really gets me excited. Why? It’s not just about downing a drink for me, I take in the ambience, the company I am with, and I love tasting different concoctions to ignite my taste buds. I love how the book The Thinking Girl’s Guide to Drinking: (Cocktails without Regrets) provides you with 100 different recipes that are mindful by using quality ingredients. **Disclaimer ** I’m not saying yes please go drink it’s so healthy for you. What I am saying is that if you’re going to have a cocktail anyway, why not choose better ingredients plus make it fun! 🙂  Be kind to your liver, use some whole foods, and don’t use ingredients that contain refined sugars, gluten, and preservatives.

Chef Ariane Resnick, a certified nutritionist and Brittini Rae, super amazing bartender/mixologist both came together to create this beautiful book of cocktails. Lemons/limes, herbs/spices, kombucha, greens are just a few ingredients that you would add in to these “superfood” cocktails. The pictures and different recipes are all so gorgeous, I literally wouldn’t mind taking a sip of them all (no I’m not a lush LOL) . Listen, the book makes a perfect gift for your gal pal, a recipe generator for your next birthday party/bridal shower, and it also has a beautiful book cover to hang around in the kitchen for a conversation piece. It’s also perfect for “mocktails” at a baby shower too!
